Chef Kevin Wright’s professional journey began at a young age within chain restaurants, quickly transitioning into esteemed fine dining establishments. Early experience was gained at notable venues such as Antrim 1844, under the mentorship of Michael Gettier, which fostered a profound appreciation for culinary artistry and a drive for inspiration. To pursue further expertise, the chef relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, to undertake formal studies in culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu.
Subsequent positions in various hotels and kitchens culminated in the completion of both an externship and an apprenticeship at the distinguished five-star J.W. Marriott Resort & Spa. Under the guidance of Bruce Knapik and several accomplished chefs, the chef mastered essential techniques and foundational skills across all aspects of hotel culinary operations.
Advancing professionally, the chef assumed key roles as Sous Chef and, in due course, Executive Chef in establishments such as Stratosphere Social, Gentlemen Jim’s, Rafael’s Steak & Oyster, and the Looneys Pub Chain. These cumulative experiences ultimately paved the way for the realization of an entrepreneurial vision: the establishment and operation of Bon Appetit Bowls Food Truck, which features a diverse catering menu that showcases his culinary creativity.
